Im still in this recovery stage from loosing my wife and I just need some time away from everything. It all happened so fast. Marcia was diagnosed with Lukemia on April 4th of this year. She was Hospitalized immediately and put on chemotherapy. I made sure to visit her every day. She got better for a while and they sent her to a Rehab facility in the first week of June. I took her out every day to dinner, the park, ice cream, doggy visits as much as I could. The lukemia was very agressive though and came back more quickly than expected along with several bacterial infections. The second week of june she was back in the hospital and on chemo again. On the first of july the Dr. told us there was nothing more they could do for her. The bacterial infections were too advanced and her immune system was completely depleted. Marcia and I had some very serious conversations about what was to come. The most difficult days of my life were upon me. The doctors made marcia very comfortable, she went to sleep on the second of july and passed at 1:15 am July fifth. I never left her side. I loved Marcia with all my heart. I cant believe she's gone. I will truely miss her... |
