Me - usually described as 'Calm but intense'. Other epithets: Witty, confident, intelligent, imaginative, cultured, centered.

Background: Author. But I spent fifteen years in one of the more challenging professions (doctor - lawyer - I will tell you when I get to know you) before moving on to be a successful writer. For this reason, I have not put a photo up.

You: Intense in your own desire to surrender fully, in your desire to learn. You know surrender is a deep process. You understand it won't happen by magic - but by engagement. You are intelligent, but not necessarily intellectual. You have the full range of feelings and empathy. You have courage, dedication, a natural sense of sacrifice. You have imagination which crosses borders and morality - a keen sense of fantasy. But for you D/s is not just about sex. It is definitely about sex, but you can also see how it connects to every other part of how you live. Good if you like the arts, admire great artists, and want to be with one : )

So much rubbish is written here on CM, about training. Human beings (and women are part of this species) can be trained, but this process is something amazingly delicate, subtle, deep and intricate. For the dominant, if you cannot control yourself in pleasure or suffering, you cannot train a sub. For a sub, if you cannot focus your attention, and your will, you cannot surrender.

Overall it is much more about who you are, than what you believe you "know" about D/s technique. If you want to be dominant, then this comes from your BEING - not because you demand that the woman does what you tell her to do.
