How does one begin?

I suppose the best way is to tell you a bit about myself. I'm a 44 year old trial attorney, with a heart of gold, a dominant streak a mile wide, and the undying belief that my soulmate is out there....somewhere.

I have found that with the passage of time, I'm less willing to make compromises in the dating world, and would rather be alone, than be with a vanilla who doesn't understand, never could, and wouldn't want to. I have made peace with the beast within, and have learned to accept the "dark side" of myself without hesitation. I am seeking someone to compliment that, and who will make me complete as a Master.

I am not looking for a doormat, nor am I seeking a mindless slave who needs permission to go to the bathroom. I am not judgmental, and certainly such women can find comfort in the arms of other dominant men. However, I seek one who is strong, independant, and challenging. Although I am a very strict master who enjoys the use of canes, clamps, whips, and ballgags, I realize that there is more to d/s than implements of punishment (although I will admit that is a big part of it); it is a dance, an interaction, an exchange. I want her to be the first person I look for when I walk into a room, and I want to know that she does the same for me. She must be a lady in the family room, an absolute whore/slut in the bedroom, and she must be able to drop to her knees in submission as readily as she can raise her head in pride.
