Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Halloween party last night! It was great seeing old friends and getting to know new ones. To those who made DomCon Atlanta what it was, THANK YOU! It was a weekend of personal growth and understanding...it was not always easy, but I am so glad I attended...now I just need to catch up on sleep!

ANTICIPATION can be such a delicious thing...for all parties involved. I have so much to anticipate and look forward to, and I know that I am not alone in my anticipation.
I look forward to this weekend. I love the planning and scheming and devising...knowing that others are in heady anticipation of that as well. I look forward to the collaring ceremony of two very dear people to me, and the opportunity to spend some much needed quality time with them and others that I care about. Oh yes, My hands are itching to tie, tease, torture, and any other number of delicious things. It's going to be a wonderful weekend.
I look forward to October, and Domcon in Atlanta. The opportunity to meet a number of people that I have only spoken to online, to network with others in our community, and to increase my own knowledge of myself and domination, to be able to teach and hone the skills of those who serve Me or desire to serve. To the one who travels from far away who desires to serve well, knowing the anticipation of serving and the opportunity to prove themself, not only to Me but to accomplish that need and desire on a personal level.
I look forward to November, and the Jay Wiseman weekend being sponsored by TRC and NASSA. Not only will it be my birthday weekend, but the weekend promises many good things already, and I can't wait to see what comes out of it.

Heading out to spend time with My mom this weekend. While she's not aware of My alternative lifestyle choices, nor should she be, she is responsible I suppose for a number of traits that I possess. She has an independent spirit, a calming soft spoken voice, a love for knowledge and learning, and the ability to nail your ass to the wall without raising her voice. In My opinion she is a steel magnolia: beautiful, strong, always a lady, but tough as nails...and I'm so very thankful that she's mine. |

If you are wondering why you don't get responses to your emails when you send basic chit chat questions, get off your ass, do some research...and at the very least read the profile before messaging someone. If you're going to ask questions, put some thought behind them. Don't send emails that say "Hi, How are you?" or "Do you like this or that?" Your email is your chance to make a good first impression. Put some effort into it. Bring your best or stay home. |

I am seeking QUALITY submissives rather than quantity of submissives. There may be a lot of submissives out there, but there are not anywhere near as many quality Dommes. We can be and are selective, so put your best foot forward.

What an incredible weekend! I was filled with such a sense of pride to participate in the collaring ceremonies of 2 Dommes I am mentoring and their submissives. To see where they have come from, to observe them as they are growing daily, and to anticipate where their journey might take them is an incredible thing and I am thankful to be part of their journey!
Saturday night was also special for other reasons...a young friend was able to experience his first caning at My hand. He did very well, and I think perhaps he is interested in experiencing more. The one under My protection was able to enjoy the feel of the new canes I had just purchased. *smiles* The sound of him purring is music to My ears.
Being asked to flog one of the newly collared subs was a special treat. This particular sub is a joy to play with, and it was an opportunity for others to see Me play from a different angle...being on the outside looking in, which I think was an interesting experience for them.

Wowee...what a weekend! It started off with a great morning with a good friend who shall remain nameless, and graduated into an evening of corsets, pedicures, foot worship, spankings, floggings, canings, and fire cupping. After a few hours sleep and a drive back, I had a wonderful lunch for some Domme aftercare and then a relaxing afternoon. LIFE IS GOOD!!! I'm so pleased with where things are right now...I have 2 Dommes that I'm mentoring that are coming into Their own. Their submissives are progressing nicely too. In fact, official collaring ceremonies are in the planning stages now! I've also been enjoying the time with a certain little one who is just beginning his journey. We're not sure where the path is going to lead, but we're enjoying the journey thoroughly! Laughter is a very good thing and there's never a shortage of it when we're together.

I've noticed quite a few journals as of late that speak to the issue of replying to messages or emails. Yes, there are players here and wanna bes, but they are present in the real world too. Unfortunately, for a subtantial number of people, the world of BDSM exists solely online and so their view becomes rather jaded as to what is considered acceptable behavior.
Approaching someone who has been in the lifestyle real time with cheesy pick up lines that you'd use in a bar, is not going to get you far. You will most likely be deleted and never thought of again. The thing to remember when you are seeking someone, whether they are Dom/me or sub is looking for QUALITY, not quantity. Be selective. Don't just settle for anyone so that you will find someone.
If you email someone expressing interest and you don't use punctuation or capitalization, that sends a message that you are sloppy and lazy. Take the time to read that person's profile completely. If they enjoy intellectual discourse and you don't even use punctuation in your sentences, it is very likely that you are NOT going to attract their attention.
Sometimes we all can get a bit puffed up with an exxagerated sense of our own importance. We all have our gifts and areas that we need to improve in. As shocking as it may seem, NO...I don't feel LUCKY because you want to allow Me the pleasure of spanking you. Asses are nothing special...everybody has them. It's the individual that it holds up that's important.
