Firstly, I dislike being called Princess. I grew up reading classic fairy tales and stories just like most kids, but I was always left wondering to myself why the princesses needed a prince so much. Being called Princess reminds me of the seemingly helpless characters that we are all familiar with. I am anything but helpless. For a better idea of who I am, you might look up the origins of my name. It was chosen for a very good reason.
I also don't think that the image that pops into mind when I hear 'princess' fits me very well. My hair is never immaculately coiffed, I don't even own one ballgown, and most of the time I don't wear a lot of make up. In fact, I like wearing my hair styled messy and I prefer wearing tattoos to make up.
I am quirky, a bit nerdy, sarcastic, and I have a twisted sense of humor. I have an immensely curious mind and I enjoy teaching myself and learning new things. In case you haven't taken the hint yet, I'm not overtly 'girly'.
Things that make me wiggle happily are new books to read, delicious teas to sip, board games to play, movies to watch, things to construct, and delicious food to cook. Is that list a bit unexpected? Better get used to it, I enjoy surprising people and I might change the rules just as you get used to them because I like keeping boys on their toes.
