My name is Matt, known variously as McMatt, MrKinktastic, MrK, etc. Ive been involved in the scene since attending my first Cornucopia event in 2007. Once I found others like me I was hooked and never looked back. I went on to volunteer with Sagacity on the Core as the Librarian and helping set up partiesrunning lights and sounds for events. I took a pause when Sagacity quieted down and Indigeo and Bent kicked off as I decided to move to Calgary to work as a firefighter and ropeconfined space rescue team lead.
However, Im now back and looking forward to poking my head back in to see how everyone is doing. My partner and I are working on getting a new Library Project started and will provide updates once covid-19 winds down and we can begin attending munches with our collection of BDSM literature loaded on e-readers.
Vanilla wise, my life has been rather adventurous. Ive been all over the place living abroad and across western Canada. Ive rarely been afraid to chase a good adventure. I spent my teen years the Kingdom of Tonga, Maxwell International School in BC, and, briefly, Bole, England. I love traveling and getting to know and understand other peoples points of view from across the globe.
Now that Im back home on the coast Im taking some time to pursue my education and finally nailing down that bachelors. I also work with youth and young adults with disabilities doing community support, respite, and previously working as a supportive roommate for youth with autism.
I am currently working on writing my second book. My first published book is called a Canadian Hippys guide to Cannabis and my current project is called Trance State Technologies. It is an exploration of consciousness and the many ways we alter it from catharsis in flogging to yoga and psychoactive plants from a neuroanatomical, psychological, and psychonaut perspective.
Kink wise my interests are quite varied and Ive tried just about everything at least once. In general, I focus on bondage, impact play, primal play, CBT, and takedown scenes for the most part. Ive always been a firm believer in learning to play with your hands before you put anything into them.
My partner and I are both interested in meeting interesting new people to talk to, go on adventures with, and if the dynamic is right play with either together and independently, again depending on the dynamic. Im looking for good conversations. The best way to get my attention is to ask questions about something Im interested in.
