I was thinking the other day how online dating reminds me of my days living on the streets, begging for butts and spare change.
Most of the time I am ignored, or politeness is taken for weakness and I am treated with contempt.
The stranger I make contact with feel they have the right to pass judgement on me and make personal and hurtful comments on me, my life, appearance and manner. Usually in language and grammar so poor I feel I should be the one passing judgement.
Then when you think the human race is just a group of w….. And you have had enough someone comes and in their kindness touches you heart. Well if they are out there then I hope they come soon. Because this is a lonely place right now.
