| I am about two parts mad scientist and one part artgeek (INTP in the Myers-Briggs world.). I make my living as a software guy. A surprising lot of us are photographers, musicians, writers and artists...on the side. I've dabbled in a bit over everything that doesn't require drawing skills. I write some songs (I'll even send you a URL), take weird photos, make strange electronics projects, etc. Lately, I've been more focused on technology, but still manage to pump out some new work from time to time. I'm affectionate, calm in a crisis and reasonably patient.Like everyone on here (I suspect) I am kinky. I like learning and like teaching. I like big sloppy kisses, cuddling etc. ... and we all know where that leads! (We can follow up on the details in private.) I am a pretty informal person and dislike pretension. I value people who are real, honest and mindful of the feelings of others. I am 37, look a little younger (they tell me), act between 15 and 65 averaging out around my age. At 6’2” and 235# I manage to be a long-limbed teddy bear of broad-shouldered manhood, or a close approximation thereof. I have brown hair (currently cut short), blue/green eyes and pale skin (but I like garlic and sunlight). I am an unwavering agnostic. If you are cool with that, chances are I'd be cool with you. I have friends of various stripes. Pretty non-judgemental. My goals are to see things from as many perspectives as possible, to understand myself and my crazy species. Let's not discuss how close to achieving those goals I am. Everyone tells me that I am the only person like me that they've ever met. I don't know what they mean. Since they mostly seem to like me, I'll roll with it. Maybe it is better this way. I just might jinx it! I work at a startup company trying to help us get to the next level. In the future, I'd like to be a founder/early member of startup and create something significant. I’m really good at learning, giving a massage (even better at receiving), programming, photography, audio engineering, synthesizer programming, solving problems, changing tires, having stimulating conversations. The first things people usually notice about me is usually my height, my quirky sense of humor, my passion about subjects that really interest me, and that I am courteous and generous. I love "literary" stuff (e.g. Bukowski, Palahniuk, Burroughs), hard science fiction (e.g. Robert Heinlein, William Gibson, John Varley), futurism (e.g. Robert Anton Wilson), horror (e.g. Clive Barker, Stephen King) and pretty much anything that strikes my fancy! I have a deep interest in the slightly avante garde side of pop music and some classic rock: Radiohead, David Bowie, Talking Heads, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, The Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins, The Deftones, Gary Numan, Joy Division, The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Wilco etc. Newer stuff I like: Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, The Kills and Broken Social Scene. As for movies, I am a huge fan of David Cronnenberg, Martin Scorsese, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, and others. Some of my favorite movies by other directors are: Donnie Darko, Dark City, Brick, Pulp Fiction, Ronin, 12 Monkeys, American Beauty and many more. Food: I like it. I will try most things (a little iffy about Sea Urchin Roe). I like Mexican (real and American), Italian, Sushi, some Indian, Brazilian steak houses, the good old American cheeseburger. Introduce me to something new! You should message me if you are smart as a tack. They knew it when you were little...it might have even unnerved them. Think Village of the Damned. You don't offend easily. You can be situationally appropriate in a boatload of situations. (Because, I need help!) For the record: families love me. Please be around my age or younger: I think you will be a good judge of whether or not we are age appropriate...
