Ok....another year has gone by and still yet not a real person on this site.  So many people who say they want to play and meet, and then when you set something up, they don't show.  They say they will but they don't.

We had a great time at Lover's Lair last Friday.  Wow, that place is getting to be quite the party.  When Mistress Linda started this thing 5 years ago, we would get about 8-10 people.  Last Friday, I think there had to be 40+ at one time and probably more when you consider all the people going in-and-out throughout the evening. 

Funny thing...I had a guy approach me last Friday and appoligize because he had been chatting with me here on CM on-and-off for about 2 years and he thought I was an online fake.  The funny part is that they (his Domme and him) have been going to the Lover's Lair fetish party for over a year.  They have both talked to me a ton of times and yet never put two and two together to realize that the online "Mistress JLynn" and Mistress Jxxx (I only use my first name in real life, not online - I do this for privacy) are one and the same.  Yep...turns out I'm real.  Yep, I can prove it.  I do go live.  Question is, do you?  So many fakes here that I can understand why people are like they are but I've made myself available a ton of times (1-3 times a month for fetish parties) that I can't understand why people are still thinking we are fakes, especially if you live here in the Seattle area.  Perhaps one of the reasons is that I live in the north end and most of the people around here that want to meet live in Tacoma.  For those not in this area, that's 90 minutes away and just a hell of a hassle just to meet someone that you don't know and are not sure they are going to show up at the place they say they will meet you.  Been there, done that, been stood up, THAT is why we just don't make the effort anymore to go anywhere south of Seattle.  Seattle to Arlington is okay.  South of that, I'm just not into it unless we have one hell of a long phone conversation and I know you're okay and not some flake.

BTW...For those of you that haven't figured it out, J is my first innitial and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the rest.  I can't even tell you how many emails I get with people telling me how "JLynn" is a great name, thinking JLynn is my first name or something (folks.....J. Lynn).  It's really weird that I have to spell that out.

Ya know, I love co-Domming.  It's like the "Ya-Ya sisterhood" of BDSM. 

I had a Domme ask me if she wanted a slave.  I asked why she listed herself as a "Domme" if she was really a sub.  She said she wanted to learn more and just figured that being a sub was the only way that anyone would ever teach her.  My thoughts....Dommes should stick together and share ideas, not try to top each other.  I really enjoy playing side-by-side with others.  I'm not sure if my slave likes it but who cares what he thinks. 

I just had a Domme here in the Seattle area ask me how much would I charge for lessons.  She's young, unemployed and has decided that she wants to be a Pro-Domme so she can charge $250 an hour. 

My thoughts - I don't charge to teach Dommes but I don't go out of my way to give lessons.  I usually put where I'll be in my jounal, so if you want to learn in person, simply show up at one of the events I go to, introduce yourself, let me know that you'd like to learn a few things and I'm more than happy to show the tricks of the trade that I've learned over the years.  I think that Dommes really should share ideas.  That's how I learned.  Also, if you have a questions, you can feel free to ask me anything online.  I know my profile says local only but if you simply have a question about a Domme trick you were thinking about doing and want to bounce it off me, go for it.

As far as being a Pro-Domme that can charge $250/hr.  I know many Pro-Dommes.  The ones that charge $250 and up usually have a very expensive dungeon, expensive outfits and they have more than a quickie orientation on how to be a Domme.  Being a Domme is like being in a band.  If you're good, you can charge top dollar.  If you're just starting out, I don't think you'll be getting that price (that is, if you can get a gig at all).  People who pay top dollar want the experience they can't get elsewhere so you better be over the top when charging $250 plus.
