I have not been on here much due to going to college full time (and I will accept nothing less than a 4.0 GPA) , and yes, I will also be taking classes during the summer. I have also been dealing with thyroid cancer. I had surgery two weeks ago, and am currently going through all the fun (extreme sarcasm) tests to see how far it has spread. I have no intentions of letting cancer win or losing any of My beloved hair. But, this is what anyone with Me would be dealing with, until I beat it. So, if you are freaked out by cancer (or people who have it), don't talk to Me, it's not like it's contagious. Also if there is a delay in responses, or I am moodier than usual, get over it. Just returned from my first day of community college.Last time I was on a college campus was 23 years ago,at a private college.Some things are different,some are the same.But I cannot believe that in this day and age,in an institution of "higher learning",I still have to hear a teacher make a comment about Columbus discovering America.How his discovery changed the world.As a person of Native blood,it took everything I had not to explode.In 300-400 years, will they say the same thing about Hitler?
