How To Improve Your Chances At Getting A Response From A Domme
1. For the love of all things tight and shiny STOP with the generic copy/pasted mails:
Seriously, if you are too lazy to type a thoughtful question or two, notice that the Mistress you are mailing your missive of burning need for 24/7 r/t TPE lives half a world away, or to even get her name correct, you are NOT anywhere near ready for that kind of commitment. (Bonus boo from the peanut gallery if you have the audacity to lie when caught doing any of the above)
2. One liners like "hi" or "how are you?" are for chat rooms, not emails, especially on a site as prone to bugs as this one.
3. Questions are good....questions already answered in her profile (interests, what sort of relationship she seeks).....not so much.
4. Keep it short, simple and polite. "I see we both have interests in ~activity~ on a ~time span~ and live in ~place~,would you care to chat further?" is FAR more likely to get a response that a 12 paragraph all caps missive about your qualifications as a sub (and the lack thereof by your unappreciative previous Dommes) or an unsolicited castraction fantasy with attached picture of your genitals in empathy pain inducing CBT. (In fact those latter two options will make you seem mentally/emotionally unstable or like a creepy lech looking for spank bank material...not attractive)
5. Have a passing aquaintance with reality:
If you truly want to be of service to a Domme, particularly in a 24/7 context, be aware that it won't be an orgy of ball kicks and kinky boots all of the time. Everyone has bad days, gets tired and has vanilla needs and lives that also need tending. Expecting to freeload off of your domme in caged slavery while she struts around in sexy fetish gear all day and "forces" you sexually service her for hours is not submission, it's bad porno. |

How To Spot Fakes On CM (UPDATED with suggestions from the CM community)
1. Real Dommes DON'T ask for tribute/giftcards/a pony for answering a CM message, pro or lifestyle
2. If anyone's first message to you includes an instant messenger ID and a request to view their cam that looks generic enough to have been copy pasted, be cautious. Send a conversational mail back and see if you get a response before adding them anywhere
3. Check the full profile details. A lot of the fakes have locations (London,Utah) or physical details (5' 11" and 67lbs) that don't make sense, or send messages that don't match their stated orientation. In a related point, ethnicity will be listed as "Native American", but the photo will be of someone who is clearly NOT of any tribe in North America. Scammers with poor English language skills think the term refers to someone born in the states, and thus list themselves that way.
4. Ask for more photos, fakes rarely have more than 1 or 2
5. If the person's listed location and comprehension of their supposed native tongue don't quite fit (typos, odd sentence structure, lack of idioms and other signs of Babel Fish copy paste conversation), it is a potential sign of trouble. Also,if they keep repeating the same few canned answers, with no real responses to any questions you've asked, you're more than likely dealing with a fake.
6. Note hyper pixelated or blurry pictures, particularly if there is only one photo. Scammers will often steal a thumbnail from another site, then blow it up to CM regulation sizes, creating an excessively grainy image
7. If after a few offsite emails, the person requests you wiring them money to return to the US/UK/Land Of Nod (in return you get their eternal devotion)....RUN. These emails and pictures are part of a common wire transfer scam, the BDSM equivalent of
that irritating Nigerian Businessman scam that chokes the junk folders of vanilla email accounts the world over.
