Friends:
AsianPersuasion
I am a beautiful, highly intelligent woman who desires and deserves to be served.
I know men to be a lot of blustering buffoons, but those who see themselves as the idiots they are may bask in my presence, for a price. I seek an online financial slave who will later evolve into a cleaning and financial slave, possibly more.
I am a superior human being and demand a status elevated above the masses.

A little more about me:
I long to see the whole world and everything in it. I hope to meet many fascinating people, and hear their stories. I yearn to go on grand adventures filled with romance, beauty, comedy, danger, and lust. I want to leave a huge, loving family behind when I die at the ripe old age of at least 150. I thirst for a life that's so full of experience that I will never feel unfulfilled. That's all - I have simple tastes.
My interests are myriad. I love to do outdoorsy things, like camping or swimming. I love music, especially live music - especially outdoor live music! Fashion is important to me. It might seem silly, but I love beautiful clothes. Reading is a lifelong passion. I'm constantly trying to learn new things. I write a lot. I remember before I learned how to spell, I would make up letters to write things in my notebooks, hoping I would later be able to recall what they meant. I also quite enjoy meeting people, although I am mostly disappointed by them.
I am a complicated woman, as many are, and I won't take shit from anybody. Many people think I am intimidating, but it's not on purpose. I am actually a nice, caring person. I think it may be my confidence that is off-putting. I'm very honest and direct and get easily annoyed with people who aren't. I have my flaws, such as being quite critical, but overall I'm pretty laid-back, inquisitive, self-assured, and funny (if in an outlandish, morbid, offensive way).
I have really unique style. Especially here in little old Nanaimo. Everyone knows me from this. Whenever I meet a new person, they tell me of some conversation they had about me, with someone else I don't know, while I wasn't there. It's kind of weird but I like it.

BOOKS:I love to read! I went a long time getting made fun of for it but it never dampened my desire for stories! Adams, George Martin, Robert Jordan, Atwood, Gaimen, Vonnegut, fantasy, philosophical fiction, other stuff. I also love fashion magazines.

MOVIES: Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club, Kevin Smith, Tarantino, Natural Born Killers, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Elephant Man, Pineapple Express, Sin City, Brazil, The Usual Suspects, Donnie Darko, The Boondock Saints, Lost in Translation, Sideways, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Old Boy, Inception, Shutter Island, Vanilla Sky, Being John Malkovich, Dazed and Confused, Superbad, Anchorman - I love soooo many movies for so many different reasons. I quite often require a good pick-me-up, fluff type movie like Empire Records, or Legally Blonde, and sometimes I like an epic film like Gladiator or Lord of the Rings, but my fave genre is those crazy strange movies like anything from David Lynch, Johnny Suede, etc. Oh! I also love really disturbing sh*t like House of 1000 Corpses, and the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

MUSIC: Alice Cooper, The Beatles, The Black Crowes, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Dead Kennedys, Deep Purple, Donovan, The Doobie Brothers, The Doors, The Dropkick Murphies, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Grateful Dead, Hole, Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Lynard Skynard, The Misfits, The Moody Blues, Neil Young, Nirvana, No Doubt, Pink Floyd, Queen, Radiohead, Rancid, Rise Against, The Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins, Social Distortion, Sublime, Tom Petty, Tool, The Hip, The Velvet Undergroud, The Who, Wilco, Bush, Counting Crows, Foo Fighters, Rob Zombie, The Distillers, Shakira, The Casualties, Bad Religion, Stone Temple Pilots, Garbage, Bruce Springsteen, I Mother Earth, Alice in Chains, The Guess Who, Patsy Cline, The Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Guns n Roses, Lisa Loeb, Silverchair, Social Distortion, Pennywise, Staind, NIN, Heart - I love all kinds of music; punk, metal, rock, ska, classical, opera, some pop, some hip hop, and on and on.

FOODS: I'm really not that picky. I went a long time without really being able to get food at all, so, though I do appreciate good cooking, I'll eat pretty much anything, and that includes stuff off the floor. I really HATE ketchup, and I really love yams, chipotle and CHEESE!

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS:
The core of belief systems like Christianity and Islam are built upon its followers having faith (i.e. belief in scientific/historical claims without any supporting evidence). The primary required idea to be believed in is the existence of a god (for the world's most popular religions).
The idea of a god existing, on its surface, seems ridiculous from the atheist point of view. Atheists in general have trouble understanding why believers believe what they do. Atheists, when thinking about the existence of anything, look at it with logic based analysis (Is there evidence? Is it credible? etc.), while often assuming others do as well. What must be understood is that believers (Christians, Jews, Muslims etc.) don't believe in God because it is logical to them, they believe for emotional reasons (primarily peace of mind). It is not the details of the belief which are important (e.g. talking snakes and virgin births), but rather, the way such beliefs make them feel. The human mind is wired to accept an idea more easily if the information is enjoyable to contemplate, than if the idea is boring or in conflict with their particular world view. The idea of a loving god can generate a pleasant feeling of well being. Having what is believed as the most powerful conscious being in the universe on your side is an amazing placebo when life feels overwhelming and depressing. The idea of God makes people view the world as if they have total control over it (or at least their imaginary friend does), giving them the cognitive ability to overcome any emotional hardship. Once the idea of a god enters someones mind, and they utilize it for consoling purposes, it becomes very hard to remove — as hard as any drug dependency.
God is more than consolation, however. God is a being which has magical powers - i.e. he can turn water into wine and impregnate virgins (proof scripture was written by man). There is something very euphoric about being in the state of wonder. Our world only gets boring when we feel we understand it. This is why magicians like David Blaine get such a following. It isn't exactly what magicians do that is important, but the way they make people feel. Having a sense of wonder is another great coping mechanism (any distraction from pain or boredom is). Not everyone is intelligent enough to be able to comprehend scientific ideas, so they are unable to get any sense of wonder from thinking about them (because they can't). Science is great for creating a sense of wonder, every time something new is learned, for that moment, the world is not boring, it is interesting. The great thing about science and wonder is that the more questions science answers, the more questions are thought of to be asked. But, let's say you are not the sharpest tool in the shed, if you are exposed to science, but are unable to understand it, you are unable to absorb it, and unable to escape the boredom and/or pain. God may be good for certain people that are unable to get a feeling of wonder from science. God creates a sense of wonder in the same way that a sugar pill can relieve headaches; if you know it is a placebo, it probably won't work, and you may not understand how it works for others.
