I was without power last week for two days due to the snow storm... now I've been sweating with just a shirt on, my trucks got a mound of clothes in the cab cause I keep stripping all day.   I dont mind when the power goes out, you get kinda used to it over here. I'm walking past the sliding glass door that looks out to the back mountain last night. (one of the, cant sleep walkabouts) Theres this tree frog stuck to the glass. First one of the season, they usually hang out on the side of the house near the porch lights eating lil bugs. Thier no bigger than a chicks thumb. (Guys have those big ol torn up tree stump thumbs, cant go by that) The first tree frog is a good sign that the grounds giving up the last of the frozen ground water and you can start driving on the fields with out bringing a tow chain with you:).

    In my not so distant past life, one of my tasks was to handle critical incidents, I trained and selected staff and set the protocols. I consider myself a pretty good judge of personal characteristics, like who was gonna be left standing there wide eyed in the parking lot to hold the doors and who was gonna enter the building to my side.

I got to be outside for the first thunder storm this year, it was going pretty good at about 6:30 pm, I can never have to much lightning.. maybe thats why I like arc welding so much, mini lightning.
