If you're serious about submission, clap your hands.
I'm not going to try to impress anyone with length of time in the "lifestyle", nor my skills, nor my dominance. This is serious business and I want serious people. I have a life outside of D/s and unless you live it 24/7, it's not a lifestyle, it's an avocation. I know very few people who live it 24/7 so, get real and get ready.
If you are overweight and out of shape, that's ok but, you won't stay that way.
D/s is not about beating people or having kinky sex. There are millions of people beating one another and having kinky sex and they've never even thought about D/s. They're called abusive people. D/s is about control, and personal growth. Ever read Pygmailion? Perhaps you've seen the movie "My Fair Lady"? That's the essence of D/s.
