Friends
Due to my past I see my close friends as my family and they mean the world to me. I sometimes feel I have an unrealistic definition as to what I deem to be a true friend.

Those open to polyamory see that it is possible to be in love with more than one person at the same time, after all if you can love more than one person in your life time is it not possible that some of those people will be in your life at the same time as each other?
This is not an easy path to walk and I have strict rules about open and honest communication in any of the relationships we form. The one thing in these relationships that i find hard to manage is jealousy... I am not a jealous person and therefore this is a foreign concept to me. I therefore find it extremely difficult to deal with.
