I am seeking a Dom with the possibility of a LTR between the ages of 42 and 49 that is DD free. You need to be discreet, compassionate, intelligent and unattached. I am not looking for a LDR. Mean what you say and say what you mean. I do not want to live with someone. I do not need to be taken care of. I do not want interference in my responsibilities. I do not want your money. I do not need a sugar daddy. There are some things that you should know about me. I smoke cigarettes. I drink. I do not do drugs. I am a bit of dreamer and I find people and places intoxicating. I want to find you intoxicating. I can be very intense and I am extremely shy. I hate monotony. If you find this to be a pain in the neck for you, then try it from my end. If you are looking for a one night stand then look someplace else. I can have as many one night stands as I want. You need to take the time to get to know me. I need to feel a connection.

So, I have not been very clear on the distance that I am looking in.  I would say about 50 miles is about the furthest. Thank you to the Dom that pointed out of my lack of clarity without pointing out my lack of clarity.   Too cool.

I am getting a lot of emails from Texas men.  I like Texas men. I do.  We just have this one teeny, tiny problem. You are in Texas.

I am not a switch.  I am not a switch for cash.  While I am at it, I am not a sub for cash. Now, I am sure that there are those that are willing to do whatever you want for money. I will not.

That's it.

It's chilly.  It's a perfect night to cuff myself and crawl under the blankets and watch old movies. Yep.

I don't get the 1950s household thing. I don't. To each their own.

I think I'm going to need a little more pain.

Wanna know what is good for the soul? Richard Garcia's prose poetry.

Seriously. Have you read Chickenhead (the poem)?

In the file cabinet in my head is a file labled thingamajigs. There are approximately 137 objects in this file. Henceforth, one of those thingamajigs will be known as a double bolt snap hook. Now, there are 136 objects known as thingamajigs.  I love Hardware 101.

I was cruising through journal entries and came across HIGHWYMAN's entry on references made in profiles to the "doormat" phrase.  I got a kick out of it and asked him if it was ok to "blog his blog". He said it was.

Several years ago I had joined this site and had considered starting a journal.  I started to read other journals to get some ideas.  I repeatedly saw the phrase, "I am not a doormat". It is pretty cliche and has become quite meaningless over time. It has been repeated on most BDSM reading material on the internet and for a good reason. However, there was a sub that had a rather unique perspective on her profile. She said, "I am a doormat. Don't tell me that it is wrong." She said it much better than that but you get the gist of it.

I thought that it was the greatest thing ever. She went against the grain and said that the community did not have the right to tell her what her limitations should be or what was "right".  In addition, she was brutally honest with herself.  That is a journey.

I know. I have some doormat qualities. I am not jumping up and down with joy with this little discovery.  I see no reason to deny it either. It simply is.

I met a man, many years ago, that would tell my friends and I all of the things that he had recently acquired. He took every opportunity to share this with us.  He also had a relationships that lasted about a week. He would complain, on a consistent basis, that women only liked him for what he had.  It is very transparent.

It is not about what you have. It is about who you are.
