Who I am:
I have been in the lifestyle since around March of 2010.
Even though I started out as a sub on and with my first encounters in the scene, I have slowly been growing an appreciation for having control. I don't have much experience for being a top, however what I have tried has been fun, and I am always looking to explore my horizons, be they as a sub, or otherwise. I think that my favorite thing to think about (if I had control) is teasing. I love the idea of edging a guy, and making him beg for it. My, how things have changed.
Submission will always be present however. I find pleasure in giving another pleasure. I have not tried defiance, however I like the idea of getting a little bratty. On a general basis, I do as I am told like a good little submissive. ;)
One of my newest curiosity is the struggle for power. I like the idea of "fighting" the other person for control. Sexy. :3
Outside of the lifestyle, I really enjoy listening to music of any type. My favorite type of music is Rock, but I like to switch it up. I really enjoy video games as well, although I cannot claim to be any good at them.
I have a heavy interest in ancient history. Even though I would love to specialize in Ancient Egyptian studies, I enjoy learning about Greek, Roman, Mesopotamian and Indus River Valley civilizations. Though I cannot claim a lot of knowledge in the other locations. I plan on seeing as much of the world as I possibly can, and look forward to studying abroad at some point.
**Update**
I recently (December 2012) took a two week trip to Israel, and found my calling there! Though previously I have wanted to go into Ancient Egyptian studies, I think that my interest has shifted to studies of ancient Israel and the surrounding area. At the moment, I am thinking about moving towards getting my degree here, and possibly moving there. I think that would be amazing. I don't know how I will feel about it tomorrow, or in a weeks time, or longer. But right now, it is giving me so much energy, and hope for the future.
What I am looking for:
I am not quite sure what it is I am looking for. Perhaps a dom, perhaps a submissive to try things out on. Who knows. But there are a few things that I do know are necessary. My partner will have to be able to be patient, as these sites have a few unsavory people on them.
Any potential partner will have to be tested, and deemed clean by a doctor. This is NECESSARY. There is no negotiation on this.

What exactly is this site for?
I am a user on , and I much prefer the way they do things over there. On this site, I feel like people are just looking for online fun with a little bit of kink in it. As someone who participates in the scene, I know that there is so much more to the scene. It's not just about sex, it's about the thoughts of the submissive as the dominant pushes them to their knees. The way that the submissive feels weak in the knees as they are ordered by their dominant.
Online play is all well and good. But cams do no justice. Wouldn't you want to see your submissive's face for real as they beg you for more? Wouldn't you rather feel the sting of your dominant's whip or flogger as they bring it down on you? I know I would. Playing for real is different then online, because the partner actually has to gain trust. Online, you don't need to trust either party.
Because at the end of the day, it is just a fantasy.
I understand that sometimes the scene is a bit intimidating, but behind a computer screen, you learn nothing except for the motions.

I have decided to write a book. I guess that is the main headline here.
Right now, my idea for this book is to cause awareness of the Fetish community and to get different people's opinions about the lifestyle. I plan on interviewing people on the site as well as people who are not. (This means people who are involved in the scene as well as those who are not)
I am going to need a large number of people to interview, so if you see this and are interested, send me a message. :D I will obviously respect everyone's privacy. I will NOT be taking information off anyone's profile without SPECIFIC permission.
Also, if you have any ideas for interview questions or topics I should go over, please feel free to let me know. I have never done this before, so it should be an interesting experience.

Alright, first Journal post thingy.
What to say....
Well, this is the second time that I have checked out this website, and my thoughts have not changed much. There are still a lot of people who are not reading my profile before sending me a message. Age is something that is a huge deal to me. I am sorry, but with my childhood, I am uncomfortable considering people old enough to be my parent. It is something that will not change in the near future, and I wish people would respect that.
I have found a few people who genuinely seem like interesting people and who have tried starting conversations with me. Which is pretty much a first on this website. So...that's nice.
It's also strange seeing someone on the site that you have played with. In my case, things didn't turn out well, so I see the profile and just feel crappy. XD Oh well. His loss.
I have been thinking about domming lately. But I am still unsure of how I would go about doing that when my personality is so submissive at this point.
Anywhoo....that's going to have to be it for now. |
