It is easy to state that one wants to be something or to have something. It is easy to speak of dreams and desires. It is easy to make vows and give promises. It is easy to say one will submit or another will lead. However, none of this means anything nor does it have any value. Words are meaningless. Actions mean everything. It is better to never speak of a thing and to do it than to speak of it in great length and passionate discourse and never move to fullfill them.
How many times have we each seen the failing of words because action do not follow them. A lie is more than saying something that is not true. A lie is also to state something that you do not truely intend to make true.
Do not speak what you are not willing to act on. Do not promise what you are not willing to fullfill. Do not dream on something that you do not intend to make a reality. To do so is not becoming of a Master nor a slave. |
