I am Lantern because in this lifestyle I see women as a beautiful fire yet woman's fire can be perceived as a negative; because the perception is fire can be dangerous, harmful, hurtful, destructive. So when people can't control her or they don't understand her, people attempt to put out her fire.
My job is not to smoother a submissive's fire, but as Lantern I provide structure and guidance in a controlled and safe environment (just like an actual lantern) so that a woman's fire can still burn brightly but instead perceived positively and constructively; that same fire providing light, warmth, safety, nourishment, etc. and to let her be who she wants to be by redirecting her thoughts and her perspective, not changing her.
