While I enjoy submitting and be completely degraded as one desires,
I also have a multi-layered personality that developes who I am. While
possessing a giving heart, I also have feisty and creative soul, with

How does a person become dehumanized? Is there a process? Are there stages? If so what are they?
It seems to me there are two "dehumanizations". There's the process of
making someone seem less/non human in the eyes of others, and there's
the process of making someone feel that they're less/non human. The
first would be what happens in the mind of an objectifying top, the
latter in the objectified bottom. As a switch, I'm aware that some
things which help further the objectification of the bottom in the mind
of the top really don't make me, as the bottom, feel particularly
objectified -- classic example being full-body lycra suits. By hiding
my face, it makes me look less human to observers (e.g. the top), but doesn't particularly make me feel
objectified. For that I need something that impedes my agency, where is
where bondage comes in. Likewise, things which may make me feel
objectified -- one thing is being moved when immobilized -- don't
necessarily do it for a top.
