Crazy busy. New job location goes live around the 17th. I was hoping for a soft opening of the restaurant but it seems that everyone is excited about it and wanting to get in their. We have already had a couple of people stop by and try to walk in the front door wanting food.
New paint, garden, tables, chairs, equipment, and scrubbed off all the gross ick that the previous horrible owners left is just about all done. Down to the tiny details of figuring out set up and finishing of menu and prints. Then to get my waitresses and waitors in for their bit of training and introduction to me and finish off kitchen staff training. Going to continue to be a crazy week next week but I am exivted for the change.
I am semi my own boss. There is the owner of the restaurant/restaurant manager but Ill be doing main of house and I maintain the office side of everything. And I get to set my own schedule, which is already making things a lot easier to keep multiple parts of my life balanced.
Family, Friends, College, Work, my personal side business (photography), and Lifestyle stuff... Ah its always fun here :) |
