| My journey in the lifestyle has given me great pain and great pleasure, sadness and joy. I have come to believe that true dominance and submission has to do with the mind, not the body.
The brain is a big old lump of sexy. Any fool can buy a pair of cuffs, and some rope at Home Depot and call themselves a Dom. The power of dominance comes from the man, not the toys.
A Dom shows their subs respect, caring and understanding as to what they seek. Doms protect and nurture their subs and treasure the gift of submission they present. There are many bullies and abusers who think since they call themselves Doms they can get away with that behavior.

I didn’t go looking for the lifestyle; it found me—a delightful accident. Looking back on my life though I have been “a Dom” for most of my adult life, without even knowing what that was. To be honest, I have had a very dear friend, lover and sub pass away on me in the past year. She was a hell of a woman and I miss her very much. I’m here for companionship, camaraderie and friendship more than anything else.
I believe there is magic in the lifestyle, real magic—the power to change lives and souls. I believe that here I can heal a bit from my loss and be a good friend, mentor and companion to others. I can’t promise anything more than that, but it’s a good start, I think.
