| Being a dominant is being a caregiver. I don't think that get mentioned enough. Yeah, it's great to get your rocks off and all, but it's important to remember that you're supposed to care for the person who's submitting to you. With great power comes great responsibility and all that.

The elevator pitch: I'm 33 and I work in television. I'm a dog person. I love books and films but I'm not a snob about it (I hope). I play the bass guitar. I've done a decent amount of travelling this year and I'm hoping to do plenty more next year. Over the past year I've volunteered for a great organisation I probably shouldn't mention here, and I can report that my rope-tying skills have come on leaps and bounds since then.
Now, the more elaborate kinky stuff:
I love bondage and I love helping people reach subspace. Kink is full of paradoxes, and one of them is that you can lead somebody to liberation through bondage: I've gotta tell you, fellas, there's nothing better than taking somebody to that point where they're just floating on bliss.
Knowing that somebody trusts you to keep them safe and warm and ecstatic, then seeing her reaction when she realises her trust in you was justified... well, you can't beat it. (Although you can maybe beat her if she asks nicely enough, ho-ho.)
I'm personally not into pet or age play - if you are then great, I hope you get everything you want from it - but I do like the idea implicit in both of them that you have control over something precious to you. My default setting is affection and humour. I don't like to demand people get on their knees or call them sluts or any of that palaver; my ma raised me right, for one thing. That's not to say I won't keep discipline when necessary...
