WTF is ESRD?

I realize that many of you have never heard of ESRD before or bother looking it up. ESRD stands for end stage renal disease. This disease is permanent and irreversible kidney failure. Dialysis or transplantation is required to survive. Aside from making urine, the kidneys also control chemicals in your body, control your blood pressure, keep your bones healthy, and make red blood cells among other things. When they stop working, fluid along with waste products and toxins build up in the body. Dialysis, an artificial life support machine, is then needed to filter out the blood and maintain a person indefinitely and prolong their life even though it can significantly impact the quality of life. If eligible, you can be placed on the transplant waiting list. Although not a cure, a transplant will enable a person to live a more normalized life without having to rely on dialysis and by taking anti-rejection medications.

Slut/Whore/Bitch/Etc.: The First Impression

I've been receiving quite a few messages where the guy is immediately insulting me using the words slut, whore, bitch, etc. in the first message that I get from them. Now, I don't really mind these name callings, but I believe it should only be after we've set up some sort of relationship. It's not a very impressive way to grab a woman's attention nor is it a good foundation leading to trust. To call me that in your first message sends me the signal that you have no respect for the person who is to become a submissive or a slave. How I Became Interested in BDSM
