I'm not like most people. Might as well just get that out of the way, because it's pretty obvious if you, dear reader, are to ever meet me. I will eternally feel more comfortable in my head, crafting stories, reinforcing newly learned information, wondering about the nature of our world, or simply observing my surroundings than I ever will conversing with another.
That does not mean that it is beyond my ability to hold a conversation, just that the act of doing so is incredibly draining for me. I understand words have power, and that words can be misconstrued. So I take my time with them. I try to convey my message as efficiently as possible, with as little fluff as necessary. Needless to say, I am aware that does not sound particularly appealing (especially since this box is supposed to be highlighting my "salable" qualities), but I put it all here to explain that I'm a far better listener than speaker. I will remember what you say, often even if I appear distracted or disinterested, and on occasion verbatim, especially if it's important.
Part of what I'm looking for is someone to pull me out of my mind. I'm not sure what that would take, but every sub who's spent any amount of time online has heard of subspace. I think it might be fun to experience that.
The rest of what I'm looking for is pretty flexible. I would prefer someone who's technically inclined, and knows the mechanics of the play they partake of, or is at least willing to learn. I am open to attending events and classes together, as well as forming a friendship with another (I'm also open to a strictly play relationship). Anything deeper than that I cannot commit to, as I'm currently in an open relationship with a wonderful woman and do not know if I can manage two romantic relationships; she will always be first.
My kink interests are many, to the point where it's easier to list my hard limits, which are fluid exchange, needles, fire play, and anything to do with excrement. Nearly everything else I am either interested in trying, know I enjoy, or am at least willing to do. I have a policy of trying almost anything life offers at least once, and have made many pleasant discoveries about myself as a result.
