I went to another 'play party' this weekend. It was nice and I got to meet some other locals who are SERIOUS about the lifestyle.
The play parties I've been attending are held in public venues so there are many rules about contact and levels of play. These gatherings are a great place to learn new techniques and watch others display their skills.
I myself would like to host a play party where the only rules are those that I make! ;) My idea of a party is one where I have several slaves willing to let Me torture them in ANY way that I see fit! :) Perhaps My fantasy will come true one day soon. |

I had a moment like that this weekend...actually the moment lasted all weekend long. Ok so I guess that doesn't make it really a 'moment'? How about we call it an 'event'. :) A weekend long life changing event. Hmm I wonder if life changing is too strong of a term? Let me see, something happened that will forever change the way I look at things because now I know it is 'real' and 'possible'....yep I think the term 'life changing' fits quite nicely. :)

Whatever happened to romance?
Those who've been reading My journal for quite some time remember I had posted that before. But now I would like to more throughly explain my thoughts on the matter.
I'm sick and tired of not being romanced properly. I got no flowers for valentines day...not even a card. No flowers for mother's day. Just a few well wishes. I wonder how FTD stays in business. Have men totally forgotten how to woo women? Or am I just hanging out with the wrong men?
What ever happened to the old tradition of bringing a woman flowers on a first date. Or flowers just in general. Or a card just to say 'I'm thinking of you today'. Or a note left on the counter to say 'I love you'. Or a voicemail to say 'I can't wait to see you again, I miss you'. Or a nice poem written from the heart. Or jewelry. Or a substantial donation to my bank account...lol, ok kidding on that last one...a Lady can dream though. ;)

Memorial Day weekend plans...
A group of My Mardi Gras friends are all going down to NOLA for the 3 day weekend. They are dubbing the weekend 'Maydi Gras'. It's gonna be an awesome good time...too bad I can't go. :(
I'll be stuck in KC, probably cleaning My apartment all alone. Perhaps I'll finally meet up with that ever elusive sub this weekend...if only he knew how to return phone calls. Sigh.
Or I could get some MUCH needed sleep...sure would help if I had a full body massage from a subbie to usher Me off to dreamland.

Someone mentioned that My journal entries are very vain...they are always about Me, Me, and Moi. And My journal never speaks of the other people in My life. Well the person that mentioned that is no longer one of those people in My life...and I hid the body REAL good. ;)

Ok seriously...I met the most wonderfully refreshing sub! And I met him right here on collarme...imagine that!
he brightens My day and makes Me smile. And since My life right now is more stressful than usual...having someone to bring a smile to My face is worth it's weight in gold!

So I'm getting ready for work today and I realize 2 things...
1. It's time to go panty shopping...I'm getting bored with the ones I have I want something new and sexy.

I have put off having a sub come clean because I wanted to have My apartment 'presentable' before inviting someone else into My home. lol That seems to kind of be a self-defeating goal...since it's cleaning that I need help with, it's kind of pointless to want My home to be clean before having someone come over to help...um, clean. lol
So I need to get over My quirk about not having anyone visit unless My home is spotless, and just relax and let a subbie help Me get My home back into 'presentable' shape.

My thoughts on what 'a night in the life of being My slave' would be like. Just thought I'd share.
If you were my slave...
right now you would be running down to the laundry room to see if the other tennents had finished their loads so you could start my load of clothes.
Then you would come back up to the apartment and take the dog out for the last time tonight.
You would return and serve me a drink and rub my shoulders while I finished up on homework for my online classes. I would find this relaxing and because I'm in a 'mood' tonight, I would have you strip and I would enjoy your body for a while.
you would then run my bath and prepare my bed.
We would go to bed and I would let you get into the bed (instead of retiring on the floor) and 'service' me until I fell asleep.
Once I was snoring peacefully you would make sure the laundry was finished before you retired for the evening.

It's Spring Cleaning time!!
Many subs have listed on their profiles 'No Strings attached housecleaning'. But I have yet to find a sub who REALLY means that.
