Decided to pamper myself and create a toy chest. What is your favorite toy? Why?

It is easy to tell a person what to do from the outside looking in. I wouldn't do that... or you should have done this... is the last thing a person going through a struggle would like to hear. Example. A woman is in a relationship. The man cheats on her or beats her... insert whatever fucked up scenario here. Any way her heart is broken into a billion pieces. Everyone is quick to tell her to leave him. Hell even she knows she needs to leave him. But what goes unsaid is that while logic makes complete sense emotions are illogical. Sometimes that woman gathers each of those billion pieces of her broken heart and that is all the strength she has. It takes a great amount of bravery to collect the shattered bits of your heart. Now just because you have the pieces this heart is still of no use to her or anyone else. Sometimes the only thing that will mend those little jagged pieces back together are the arms of the very person that broke her heart to begin with. We are such a temporary society that we are quick to throw people away. We throw them away before we understand that they could hold the key to our mending. I am not saying all situations have the ability to be fixed. Not all situations are worth staying. But they are not always broken beyond repair and every once in while they are worth it. The only one that can determine that is you and your partner. Friends with advice are great. But if you cannot go to your partner to work things out, were they ever really your partner to begin with?

I am fascinated by the journal entries! Spend way too much time reading them.
