Down, downtime Boredom, bored, so bored, so really really bored. Derob. So bored it has gone backwards becoming derob. There are plenty of films or books or so forth to pay the time. Though no substitute for being someone. Even cuddling together as the music plays or watching together is still desirable when compared to justt, waiting alone. Whether one is the Dom or sub there is still an energy buzz of the power play with helps to keep one charged, energized.

Disclaimer Journal entries so far have typically tended to be fyi's and rants, probably more so rants which are useful in putting my perspectives into words are not automatically Biblical Truths. If any of it ages or disagrees than it is good both ways. There is no intended judgement here, rather a way for me to express something which if compatible with yourself may lead to.further one on one discussion if you are comfortable with that. Meanwhile, thank you for reading, take care and have a good life

P's Piss Poor Preparation Produces Piss Poor Product Preparation, while time consuming is vital in positive outcomes. Such as a Carpenter saying of Measure twice and cut once. Communications before play time is crucial even more so with regards to the power exchange inherent in the BDSM areas. (Bondage & Discipline, Domination & submission, Sadism & Masochism) The Dominant is the one in Command of the session and responsible for protecting and nourishing their submissive. How can they be a competent commander without foreknowledge of their sub beforehand? Being aware of any allergies their sub may have? I think it was out of an episode of Night Court, the lady has her eyes closed as he gives her astrawberry to eat and she asks "What is this?" 'What do you mean, what is it, how can you not know what a strawberry is?' "Because I'm allergic to them!" So the start of a potential night in bed turns into a night in the hospital. It can not be taken for granted the other will state their allergies since physical limitations for better or worse are often perceived as being handicaps. When first meeting and getting to know another it is typical for one to be putting their best face forward without drawing attention to any shortcomings. There is no intentional lying or deceitful intentions going on. Drawing focus to the perfect parts is the stereotypical approach. Truth is there are good and bad parts of you, of everyone. Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of each other will help to know how to focus on the best parts while nourishing them in becoming better versions of themselves and being aware whatever defects are present are characteristics you possess which make you unique. A Dominant, to make a long story short (TOO LATE!) Not only protects and nurtures their submissive, they encourage you to try things you have been secretly desiring to while expanding your limits in becoming a better version of you. Ultimately a Dominant has possession of their submissive since they were chosen and are respecting their submissive's trust in them. The submissive has the collar and/or locks of their Dominant on them because they do not want to take the collar off or ask for the key.

Why Janus1864? The ancient Roman God Janus is often depicted with two faces, one face to the past and the other to the future. The choices and actions one one presently make are based upon ones past. When making present choices one should be mindful of how present choices have bearing upon future outcomes. For example, one knows how hot water can burn (perhaps from being a two year old doing their hand in the cocoa, though even if the moment of understanding is no longer remember there is still some residual memory of how something made with hot water can burn) so when one presenting decides to have a cup of cocoa they know to have it in a cup made to withstand the heat. If one is choosing to have the cocoa to help them relax for a goodnights sleep than they are facing the future effects of this present choice. Also presumed Janus had the month of January named after him. Which happens to be my birth month. Also 221B is obviously a Sherlock Holmes reference. Which I grew up with, though a bit more with Doctor Who and Star Trek, and happened to presently be listening to an unabridged audio copy of the cannon along with some of the various radio dramas. I try to think and make choices without regards to myself. The world is a relative reality, how we see reality is relative to our point of view. By not focusing on oneself and trying to see things more neutral or from the others point of views it helps to see more and having a better understanding of the situation in general, one is in a better position for a better evaluation of the situation and therefore better able to make better choices for the present and future.
