Ok, It seems that I need to clarify something: I usually identify as a switch, and this does NOT mean that I'm in the market to be collared or to collar. Also, the reason I identify as a switch is NOT because I haven't submitted to a "True Dominant". I beg to differ.
JUST because you have given yourself a title doesn't mean anything. Domination doesn't mean that you have a wall full of instruments of beating and torture. It doesn't mean that because you have had a bad day at work that you can come home and beat someone senseless. Domination is a presence.
On the flip side, identifying as a submissive doesn't mean that each and every person is a masochist. Some, like me, hate giving blowjobs. So, I don't.That doesn't mean that a submissive isn't "True". Not all submissives are bisexual. All submissives are not cunts. They're not all living, breathing pieces of fuckmeat, designed for your use and abuse..at the end of the day, they're still a submissive.
D/s is about who you are at your core. If you're a prick 99% of the day, then, by God, you're obviously a Dominant prick. If you're an caring, intelligent Gentleman, then you're an smart, loving Dominant. If a submissive is feminine, loyal, and caring, chances are they're in it for the long haul. Clear?
I am most comfortable participating in both arenas of D/s. The playing field is that much broader. That being said, I am more aggressive, therefore, more suited to the dominant side of life. I will, if the chemistry is right, submit..but don't count on it.
I have a very full life outside of D/s, and am quite happy.
