Sex with love is more important to guys than girls
Did you think that only the fairer sex was more vulnerable to cupid’s arrows? Well, then think again. Contrary to popular belief, sex with love is more important to men than women, or so a recent study points out.The findings show that women are more likely than men to enjoy casual romps when they have no emotional attachment to their partner.
A Britain based sex toy firm, Lovehoney, carried out a research in which twothirds of females questioned (66%) said it was possible to have great sex without love as compared to only 62% of men.
While ‘love’ seemed to play an integral role for a happy sex life for both the genders, the number of men (48%) voting for love clearly outweighed the number of women (39%) voting for the emotion.
Hinting towards a female sexual rising of sorts, the study also showed that the ladies are more likely to place emphasis on sexual chemistry as compared to the gentlemen.
The study, which is based on the poll of 6,000 people, also showed that while an emotional attachment was more important to men than women, they also placed more emphasis on looks.
Three-quarters of men who volunteered (74%) for the study feel that a romp in the bed could be great also with somebody they found physically attractive, but did not really bond with, compared to 59% of women.
A spokesperson for the sex toy brand says, “This new research shows that men are more in touch with their emotions and the days of the stiff upper lip are well and truly over,” adding that women are prepared to take the lead in the bedroom without any emotional baggage of any sorts. |

Dutch women’s rights groups used a drone to deliver abortion pills from Germany to Poland in an attempt to help women in the country terminate their pregnancies safely. The group, Women on Waves, flew the drone to highlight Poland’s restrictive laws against terminating pregnancies. Abortion was legal in Poland in the Communist era, but outlawed in most cases in 1993. The “abortion drone” carried World Health Organisation-approved drugs from Frankfurt an der Oder to Slubice on Saturday. It is estimated that at least 50,000 underground abortions take place in Poland each year. Doctors who perform them illegally often use outdated tools and procedures, and charge up to €4,000. |
