| Being a Dominant has nothing in common with being domineering, in fact one is a contradiction of the other. Any idiot can be taught how to use a flogger, cane, or crop. Simply because you have become adept at kicking someone’s ass is not the mark of a Dominant.
Being Dominant is a state of mind. It is not a role. It is a state of being.
A Dominant must remember that submission is a gift. A Dominant does not posses an unbridled supremacy or limitless power. The Dominant posses only the power in which his submissive has granted to him.
A Dominant is always honest, to lie is to show you cannot be trusted.
A Dominant accepts responsibility for all his actions, admit the fact that you messed up.
A Dominant must watch over and protect all submissives.
