I need to give what comes below some background, perhaps you'll stick with me.

Mom and Dad got married in 1951. I came around in 1955, an only child. I was loved. I asked for a little brother, but one never came. Later I learned mom had a uterine tumor, and had a hysterectomy moments after I was delivered.

On the wall of our living room was a picture of a boy with a fishing pole and a dog. It is one of my first memories. At some point I remember one parent lifting me up and reading it to me.

At some point before I turned 12, the picture and story disappeared. I was a boy - I didn't ask or really care what happened to it.

Mom passed about 5 years ago. She was 91, and had lived a good life. Dad had gone before. I had to clean out the house. I came across the picture - a bit faded, but still in the frame I remember. It now hangs on the wall in my dining room..

As I continued to clean the house, I came across an old green mailing tube. It was postmarked 1952. I had never seen it before. In there was a very similar picture, but of a girl with her doll and a kitten. You can read that at the same link as above. The mailing tube now is on my bookcase.

Hopes and dreams of long ago never completely realized, but the ones which were realized were cherished.

I say all that because it gives the inspiration for what I have written below.

As I have read it back what I have written above, I realize it may strike a raw nerve in a very few. Please recognize that what is above written in admiration, not to give pain.

WHAT IS A SLAVEGIRL?

Atop the list of the most valuable things, above riches and fame, we find the slavegirl. Even though they are so valuable, slavegirls are free for the taking, yet only a very few can earn even one.

Slavegirls come in all ages and sizes, but they all have the same creed: To serve and to be appreciated.

Slave girls are rare, but they can be found anywhere - at work, at home, at the PTA meeting, on their feet, on their knees, and on their best behavior. They are also found tied to, hung from, walking behind and kneeling beside.

They are honesty with sassy streak, dedication with your drink cupped in her palms, grace carrying the groceries and dignity with a scrub-brush. They are love with no safety net.

Never was there a more amazing collection of paradoxes than the slave girl. They are in bliss while in pain, in rebellion at freedom, construct walls they hope will be breached, and find freedom in bondage.

Vanillas don’t understand them, parents mourn for them, Masters love them and their sisters care about them. Feminists hate them and most men cannot admit they exist. A slave girl is strength on a leash, integrity with a smirk, maturity in a schoolgirl outfit, and dignity in much too short of a skirt.

A slave girl is an enigma confined by a corset. She has the willpower of of a marathoner, and more dignity on her knees than most men have standing up.

She likes knowing what she should do, sexy shoes, revealing clothes, toys, pointy things, thuddy things and stingy things, being told she is good, knowing you approve, and any opportunity to show her devotion.

She can be blunt with you while making it seem like a compliment, make suggestions that you later think of yourself, and ask innocent questions that have as their only answer that you need to think.

She does not like vagary in what is expected of her, outsiders with an opinion on how she should run her life, or too many choices, and she will not abide weakness, lies, or anyone without honor.

You can beat her, humiliate her, give her to others to be used, punish her and expect the near impossible from her, and it will only drive her closer to you. What you cannot do is ignore her.

Nobody else works harder, loves stronger or tries to please more intently.
Who else can cause you more satisfaction, or drive you to greater achievements simply by their own inner strength?

A slave girl has magical powers. You can keep her off the furniture, but you cannot keep her out of your thoughts. You can gag her mouth, but you cannot silence her strength. You can bind her in rope, but she will bind you with her heartstrings

But when you the world has turned your dreams into ashes, and you walk in the front door, she can make you realize you are the luckiest man in the world by merely kneeling down and saying three words…. “Welcome Home Master!”
