My hair, has been so long that for a year I have been sitting on it. All the time, and I have decided it's time for a cut. Here is the problem everyone(friends-family-recruiter) have told me that I need to cut at least a foot. I don't want to cut that much... nope... nope... nope...
I found an expensive salon that is fancy and I think what I will do, is walk in, and say, I need help and am asking for your ideas. Tell them I know I need to cut at least 5 inches but that I am scared to cut more, maybe they have a style they can recommend as a transitional cut.
A new hair style is a must in order to accomplish my professional goals, but I may need several drinks before that first snip. |

1 more win, and the LA Kings are the Stanley Cup CHAMPS again!!!!!! Congrats to Quick, this was his first in goal start at Madison Square Garden and it was a Stanley Cup Final game and it was a SHUT OUT. What means to non-hockey fans is that the other team could not score on him at all. They even pulled their goalie for a little over 4 minutes at the end and the Rangers had NO Shots on goal. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. :) |

Go KINGS GO!!!!!!! Our boys are traveling home after winning GAME 2 of the finals tonight. I was told they are half way home, but since it will be almost 4am when they drive out of the airport, they may end up Helo'ing out. I think that the team just didn't want to arrange for the homecoming they have had in the past few series. It is Sat night after all, maybe the logistics of having thousands of fans park near the airport and then line the streets is too much.

Something I am pondering after reading a profile of someone new. I get the concept of an "e-collar". But, I don't see how it can actually work. I mean, if you haven't ever met someone, how can you belong to them. If you can, for any length of time without meeting them within a reasonable time does that mean something is wrong with the couple. Is it doable because it's a fantasy? Never having been "e-collared" I don't know.... I go and ponder on it.... :)

I have to say that today's Earthquake that was just across the border down south in Mexico about what maybe 100 miles away maybe 120.... was the weirdest one I have been in. 7.2 and the the motion made it feel bigger or centered closer. Some felt queasy but I felt jarred. I hope everyone in the area is ok.

I read 2 entries that baffled me today.
The first was about being on trial for a month. Is that like a full refund deal?
The second was about a gal that was working with people to make a list to warn people about fakers/trolls. I have never been a faker or troll however there were some people in the last 12 years of exploration in BDSM that I was way into at first... then they said or did something to make me question my initial thoughts about them. To be honest I may or may not have told them why I wasn't interested anymore. Sometimes it's not tangible, and sometimes it was scary. I didn't want to piss someone off so they would go on ignore, no phone calls returned, nor emails. One or two men in my past may think I am a faker or troll, and I would heartily disagree. True I could have handled it better, but to be branded something by list makers. That would be unwarranted. Who decides what is or isn't criteria for a faker list? Will there be a trial, or check list? Angry people piss me off... vengeful people piss me off... Sorry I had to vent.

I just read a profile of a Domme/Dom couple looking for a slave. I may be reading the profile wrong but it sounds as if they will be running credit on the Female slave applicants before meeting with them. The intent is that the slave be maid/personal assistant/rape toy for him. I would never give enough info for a background check to anyone I didn't know before, even as a newbie when I was shiny and new. LOL. .. I can't stop laughing the level of people they are going to attract sets them up for failure. LOL... Now I wouldn't be applying for that as I have a Dom, and am happy... Olympics!!!! BAHHH!!!! GRRRRR!!!!!
I live in Southern California and as the only member of my household
interested in televised sports (really just hockey) I had to record the
opening ceremonies on the DVR. Due to the delay in raising the
cauldrons the time ran out on the recording. I was so mad I made a very
unladylike comment. I invested 4 hours of my life to watch something
that was supposed to be magical. In the end the spell failed. I can't
find any video anywhere on the net so that I can watch the lighting, and
a huge hero of mine was involved (#99) of course. When the ceremonies
ran long NBC should have realized some of us would miss the biggest part
of the ceremony, and uploaded the lighting. Am I wrong?

This just screams danger danger danger to me.

She is in her late thirties, he is in his late forties. I see him planning to do things to and with her that he doesn't want her to be able to get feedback on from others in the community.... something like this.

I read in a blog on another site a girl letting it all out due to a painful and worrisome event. She had not seen, spoken with, or heard anything about her Master in almost 20 days. He apparently had a website he established where he would blog and update regularly, he hadn't been there since before she last was with him. His Cell Phone is no longer in service. She went to his Parents home and nobody was home and had not been for a while it seemed. She has looked to see if he was arrested, or in accidents and found nothing. It's unclear if she went to his residence and if so what she found but the fact she knew where his parents lived either means he lived with them or she already had been to his place with no luck. I did my version of a prayer for her and her Master never having known either as her situation, fear, worry, and sadness cut pretty deep. With all of the holiday merriment and New Years Partying we forget that bad things happen. People hurt, Natural Disasters inflict horrible suffering, Some things we can affect change on and some we can't. But we can always remember to tell those we love what they mean to us, and how much we value them. I found out about the Earthquake earlier today and am still in shock, living in Southern Cali means you think about Earthquakes almost on a regular basis. Little ones can be dangerous, big, horrible. My "thoughts" AKA prayers are getting quite the workout today. It's not wrong to be grateful that my loved ones are safe tonight, but at the same time I am very sorry for all of the suffering ..... Be Well All.

I finished the Merry Gentry series from Laurell K Hamilton recently and have to wait till next year for the next Anita Blake book. :( ~pout~ I am however looking forward to the ION network making the first book into a made for TV movie. ---- I have started reading the first Harry Dresden book by Jim Butcher, so far, as I am reading I envision the show.
This of course is awesome. Except for the descriptor of Murphy, different hair color... Throws me off.
I have a graduation party for My Dom-BF's cousin this weekend. I like his family and I know I will have a good time. I am hoping to get finished with the book by then so I am between books and not distracted.

I would add another photograph, but I need to pull the ones from Vegas last month off the camera. You may be able to tell that every Sept towards the end of the month I go to Vegas for Pre-Season Hockey "Frozen Fury". Yes my Kings Vs usually the Ave's. It's fun to scare the non-hockey fans on the way to the game going through the casino and the retail area before the arena. Razzing the Ave fans.... We won again this year. Nice....
