	I'm someone who has always had a kinky side and have I decided to embrace it. I'm alpha, smart, edgy, communicative, and protective. I'm a free thinker, never boring, have a sadistic side (not the scary kind, the kinky kind) and have sharp sense of humor (yes, Doms can have a sense of humor). If you're looking for a brutish, stupid neanderthal, stop reading this now and good luck. I find the most important aspect of a good D/s relationship is the mental one. Connect mentally and the physical parts will come naturally. You can exchange looks or a simple touch and instantly know what the other is thinking. I do not believe being a dominant means being a jerk, the same way I do not believe being submissive means weak or mindless. They are different sides of the D/s coin, both need the other. I am a professional with a real job, vanilla family and friends, so discretion is assured. I am looking for someone who wants to explore this lifestyle. You find being submissive an uplifting thing, not a degrading one. You like being a toy at times, but you're not a doormat and don't want to be treated as one.

I've been hearing more and more from ladies on here about the negative experiences they have had with some of the Doms on this site. A word of advice, if someone treats you with disrespect in their communications with you here, do not expect it to get better, or be better in person.

Listen to your instincts, if something feels wrong to you, it's probably for a good reason. Follow your heart, but use your head too.
