This frustration...
The farther down the road of life you go, the more challenging it becomes to make new and meaningful connections. Everyone has a history. Everyone has an established list of likes, dislikes, preferences...
And then there is the added challenge for some of us to find that person willing to be intimate with you in a mutually rewarding and fulfilling way, while willingly, gladly even, protecting what you have.
So it is with the one in the vanilla marriage...the marriage that is meant for a lifetime, but not capable of yielding that one thing you so yearn for.
Most will view your efforts and desires with suspicion or disdain. But somewhere..somewhere out there is that one special person: that one whose yearnings and circumstance complement your own. That one that stokes the fire in your bones, that knows the combination to unlock the secret desires vault deep in your soul.
Maybe you are her. Maybe I am he.
