We’re a stable, loving couple who’ve been together for 16 years; we’re happy, enjoy the others company, and savor meandering conversations.

Ours is a female-led relationship. L (the female) is dominant, but not the bitch-in-heels sort. D (the male) is a switch. We’re partners and equals, but L has one extra vote when it comes to making decisions.

We’re reasonably bright, fairly literate, firm believers in grammar and the Harvard comma, and rather left-leaning. We’re kinky, but kink isn’t our life (we don’t spend every weekend at a dungeon and not a lot of time here or on FL).

What we’re seeking is a bit elusive: we’d like a female friend. Someone with shared common interests, passions, and beliefs, who has a real life, real friends, and functions in the real world. Someone grounded, stable, and who will enrich our life with her knowledge and life experiences; we hope to enrich hers, too.

Should that friendship grow into a play dynamic, we’d be thrilled, but we’re not expecting that. If a sexual component with one or both of us develops, we’re okay with that, too (but it’s not necessary and it’s not our primary intent). Should you be service-oriented, we’d be happy to explore that aspect, but again, it’s not necessary.
