I think that I can best be described as somewhat Old Guard in style, but not quite. So maybe just old fashioned will do. I believe in training and protocol, but not necessarily in some of the formal style, as I prefer a more laid back and relaxed feel to life. I believe in responsibility and consequences, ideals severely lacking in todays world. I believe that a slave is a reflection of her Master and therefore should have a certain sense of self respect. Enough to keep herself in form and hygiene that will present favorably upon those that she interacts with. While a slave is the property of her Owner and does His bidding as required, she should be an asset not a liability. By that I mean that if your Owner needs to spend every waking minute seeing to your needs, because you became a slave to be saved from yourself, then slave becomes Master. A Master has a deep responsibility to care for his property and make sure it is always safe, secure, well cared for and healthy. The slaves responsibility is to please, serve and make her Masters life better. The new interpretation seems to be that being a slave is a license to run wild while your Owner supports your excesses. So I will stay with old fashioned. I will stay with the idea that both parties have responsibility and commitment to each other, and each must consider what is best for the well being of the other. I will stay with the concept one does not undertake the responsibility and costs involved with owning something only to give it away to any and all that wish use of it. You do not see the owner of a Renoir indiscriminately allowing all of his friends to take it home whenever they wish to, NO it is HIS property, he allows it to be displayed but never touched. There are two types of property in this world, one that is personal property, well protected and cherished and well used. The second that is simply business property, something that is owned but not necessarily cared for, there just to profit from. The owner not caring if it gets worn out or broken, it is a business acquisition it can easily be replaced. As a slave, which type of property do you aspire to be? If you look to be personal property, let me hear from you.
