FadedVoodoo

I like to think of myself as a guy who is just slightly on the kinky side. As for D/s, I've been dabbling with it in my personal relationships (both online and offline) for about 7 years or 8 years now, so I know a little more than nothing. Of course, I am still quite willing to discover more (with the right partner in crime). I'm caring, patient, and honest to a fault. All the same, I am quite able to take hold of a situation (or person), and keep it/them from spiraling. If I have any sort of gift, I think that that would be it. In terms of what I'm looking for, I want a relationship that is open (in terms of sharing thoughts and feelings with one another - not a polyamourous relationship), honest, equal, and intellectual. You can only be attractive to me if you can hold your own in a conversation, no matter how physically attractive you are. As for the D/s dynamic, I want a submissive girl who has a little bit of fight, but also knows when it is time to obey. To me, having control is a lot more fun when it is earned, rather than blindly given up. I am not, and will never be, a replacement for your working mind and brain. As for a little more of the pragmatics about me: I'm a graduate student in a health-related discipline. I love people, and learning about people (no matter what their quirks are, or what path they've taken through life). I enjoy life, and I intend to continue to do so indefinitely. My hobbies include (in no particular order): reading, traveling, exercising, running, cooking, video games, movies, all sorts of music, and to an extent, finance. I try to live life on my own terms, and try not to take myself too seriously. I'm challenging, but if you're reading this so far and smiling, I might just be what you're looking for. Finally, this quote sits well with me, and - I think - sums up a lot of my reason for being: To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics ... To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
