I'm more or less new to this site (I'm often away for awhile), but I've enjoyed several practices on the check-off list since well before I knew there was a name or paraphernalia for them. Consequently, I don't much care to check off a lot of things that may turn out not to apply after all, either because I ve moved on, or because I don t want to do them with a particular person. So, if all you're looking for is a lot of pain with little, if any, emotional connection, I can recommend some politicians speeches to you. I m looking for a long-term relationship with someone who ll complement my personality and continue to grow with me as I think of new things to try. This means someone to whom total submission likewise seems the most natural thing in the world and who wants a long-term stable relationship (in contrast to those who want occasional play or who want to live in a cage until they tire of the role). It also means someone who understands totally submissive as something that describes her personality and role within a relationship, not someone who understands it at synonymous with being stupid beyond words. Speaking of personality, I don t get along well with people who describe themselves as bratty, wild, needing to be controlled, or in any way that implies that there s a taming game to be played. While total submission takes time to achieve and nurture within any particular relationship, and patience (among other things) is required, a disposition that brings to mind images of maladjusted children running around screaming in a grocery store is completely unappealing. Finally (at least for now), I have a life outside the bedroom, and, as you might guess from what I ve written, I envision your being an important part of it. This doesn t mean that you have to list off all kinds of time consuming non-activities when you write, but rather that you have to convince me that you re comfortable with vanilla aspects of life. For example, it means that you have to be comfortable doing things that are taboo for many (judging from the profiles I ve read so far), like going to see a movie and talking about what you liked or didn t like afterwards over pie and coffee. If the deion above seems to fit you, I look forward to your message. Tell me what it seems to you we have in common and what you think describes the ideal relationship (all aspects of it).
