The recipiant may have their mobile number on their yahoo im or other chat engine account and the person accessed it that way with a fake yahoo account they set up that was similar to yours. If you're still able to talk to the fellow see if the syntax surrounding the questionable message is like one letter off or something which would indicate a fake. |

Oh, I later thought of a less technical way this could have happened - someone who wanted this to happen could have simply sent the message from his Cellphone while he was in the bathroom, sleeping, having sex, driving, whatever ("Oh, I forgot to charge my phone can I use yours for just a sec?"). Another more techie approach could have been to momentarily borrow the SIM card from his phone making another phone appear to be his. OK, I'm done with this. Hope all is well by now. Ta ta.

In response to your Q of sending an SMS message from a Cellphone never in your possession I can hypothesize the following not knowing if for certain this is what happened: Spammers use evil software that forges your stolen email address onto outgoing spam so that it appears as though the spam came from you. When I send an SMS message from my Cellphone to someone's email address it says it came from my cellphone number. I imagine an evil-doer could send an email or SMS to someone and use this same evil software to forge any bogus sender's address to it. If he forged his buddy's Cellphone number to it it would appear as though it came from his Cellphone. My Verizon Cellphone account also permits me to use the Web to access and send messages with my Cellphone number as my address. As best as I can remember. I do remember trying this 2 years ago but not again since.

Can someone please tell me how I can send a text message from someone elses cell phone when I never met this person. Which means I never had their cell phone in my hands. So if someone can tell me how that is possible, I would greatly appreciate it. |

It has been brought to my attention but someone that there is some "woman", and I use that term loosely since I dont like to bad mouth anyone, has been telling people that I am a fake. I do not know who this "woman" is nor will anyone tell me who it is. So be warned. If you ask me she got jealous of this Dominate that I was getting closer too, (he knows who he is), and did what she had to do to separate us. Whats funny is only this one was called. No others that I talk too. So, whos' the fake? |
