the following was a reply to the ever-popular question, "so what are you into?"  for me, this is a rather complicated and complex question requiring a compicated and complex answer. 

as a dominant, i like control over people and situations.  even when i was in high school, i liked using handcuffs and blindfolds with girls i was with.  of course, i really didn't know what i was doing or that there was a whole subculture around it.  i just knew that i liked the taking control and that i liked it being given to me.  since then, i have explored much more of what interests me, and learned a lot about myself.  i do not play a persona when i dom or refer that play as a scene.  even with "vanilla" sex i am dominant and i don't really think it would ever be called "vanilla".  i like hair pulling, face slapping, forced oral, fisting and inserting unusual objects in a partner.  a lot of what i like is seeing a reaction.  as a sadist, i like to see fear in her eyes and panic.  because different people show these reactions from different stimulus and situations due to experience, taste and comfort level, those stimuli and situations would need to change accordingly.  for me, it is not about the action, but the emotion the action elicits.  i do enjoy using crops, canes and whips for the reaction,canes being my favorite, but i also like to see the marks. to me, the raised by a cane are brush strokes on canvas.  but, caning is not for everyone.  i know a lot of people would say that to dom is to decide and demand of a sub and i agree to a point.  i do belive in finding and pushing limits, but, i also believe that if work up to those limits gradually, that when you do push them, you far surpass those limits you believed you had.  if you take a piece of ice, and smash it with a hammer, the pieces will fly wildly and if you try to put the pieces into a mold, it will be jagged and incomplete.  if you take a piece of ice and warm it in the sun, let it sweat until it is a warm puddle, it can be poured into any mold you wish.  sex and sexuality to me, is not just fucking and cumming, it is an experience.  sort of a journey not a destination.  i guess it is hard for me to answer your question.  i am guessing you wanted to know if i like to spank or choke, both of which i do, but it is not the spanking, but the surrender of putting yourself over my knee, or, depending on the situation, the surprise of me grabbing you and forcing you over my knee.  not the choking, but the panic of being helpless to stop it and the relief of the next breath i allow you to take.  i enjoy intensity and will do what it takes to bring on an intense reaction.
