HALLOWEEN: GUÉDÉ CELEBRATION AT THE VOODOO FETISH LOUNGE!
The next BDSM play party of the Voodoo Fetish Dungeon will be held Saturday, Oct. 30th, from 8pm to 2am.
The VFL will celebrate Halloween, by giving you a taste of the Guédé celebration.
In Voodoo mythology, Guédé is the family of spirits that embody the powers of death and fertility. Also rulers of death, cemeteries and graves, they are the ones that accompanies a person through death. Although the month of November is dedicated to them, a huge celebration is given in their honour on November 1st and 2nd. The Voodooists during the celebration wear black, purple, scarves and/or clothes.
Chiefs of the Guédé family are Baron Samedi and Manman Brigite, his wife. It’s in this family that we’ll find the larger group of androgynous, transgendered, homosexual and bisexual, clearly defined.
You’ll be able to have her read your « destiny card » for you at the cost of 25$ for 20min. (not included in the entrance fee). She’ll also give you a talisman for good luck!
- Also a dance performance called "banda" danced for the Guédé.
As this is a Guédé night! I suggest the following dress code. Colors purple, black, white and/or red!
Outfits: Body Art, Burlesque, Zombies, Amazon, Moulin Rouge, Uniform, Boudoir, nuns, priests, anything referring to slavery (but tasteful), slave-masters etc
Entrance fee: 25$
In order to enjoy the show and the whole evening, please arrive no later than 10pm. The door will be closed at 10h45pm.
