We’re a professional couple that has been active in the BDSM community in the past. However, in the last several years we pulled back more and more from the more public community for a number of reasons. Lately we’ve started contemplating how much we miss socializing with other ‘perverts’ and we miss playing casually with others. We’ve always been more drawn to the reality of BDSM over the fantasy and we try to minimize the drama in our lives. While we’ve done our share of house parties and conventions in the past we’re more interested in keeping a low profile these days. In the end DC is a very large small town. We enjoy the company of folks that can appreciate things outside of BDSM (food, travel, current events). In the end we’re looking for folks that pique our interest and are willing to invest the time and effort to form a friendship rather than a quick scene.
As far as play I’d describe us as more ‘rough and tumble’ rather than ‘slap and tickle’. Our toy chest is more geared towards edge play (pokey things, shocky things, scary things) but we’re open to exploring different play with the right people. In the end we’re interested in finding folks that interest us and having a good time.
