I am a published novelist and I'm stuck. I have a contract which I find myself totally blocked in finishing and am scrambling around for a way to get back to work.
What I am looking for is a muse, 'Hey it worked for Orpheus it might work for me.' The novel is pretty dark and the B/d/S/m scene is a big backdrop. I am not looking for lessons I consider what I know to work pretty well most of the time. What I need is the girl.
Someone who is bright, articulate, like to give and receive attention, and who is looking for immortality as the basis of a heroine who will (hopefully) become the new 9 & 1/2 weeks for the next generation.
I dont have much worked out after that, I think any structure or planning I make now will be pointless until the nature of the relaitonship is found. Anything else where the relationship leads will all have to be worked out as we go along.
