Every once in awhile, it really does help to spend some time away from this. With the chance to take a break, you can realize how some of it is banal, corny, cheesy. A little less protocol, a little more heart is a good thing.

I've reached the dangerous stage of boredom, when recklessness is thrilling. Like the regretful vampire smelling blood in the air... he's told himself he shouldn't, but it just seems so *right*.

The heightened sense of arousal. The incredible sense of confidence. The sweet memory of conquest.

It's worth the trouble.
