Ive been in power positions for decades and won enough battles to be comfortable in my role. Nothing to prove, no macho displays, no exploitation of the weak. Theres a reason for Dignified.
My intent is monogamy and long term only. Where on the power spectrum TBD. I put little stock in the lifestyle labels thinking, perhaps heretically, that the relationship exists to serve the couple rather than being forced into a box.
In my world, sexplay is secondary to the overall Ds dynamic and the emotionalromantic bond. No casual play, groups, poly, lending, etc. Some Doms claim loving their sub and showing vulnerability weakens them. Ill suggest only weak Doms are unwilling to love their subs or show a softer side.
My gratification comes from receiving great power and trust from a strong sub. Ergo, my preference is someone successful, highly intelligent, confident.
