I've been involved in the 'scene' or 'lifestyle' or whatever people are calling it now for the better part of 20 years. Yes, I was still in high school when I got started - it was a hell of a summer education. The main thing I've learned over all this time is that you'll never know everything, and anyone who makes a claim to the contrary is full of it. That, and there are a lot of posers/fakes/etc. out there. I tend to go through periods of time where I'm fairly dormant - work, family, life in general - but now the pendulum has swung the other way and I find myself seeking again. I believe that submission is a gift - a gift given to a worthy Dom/Domme - not a right that can be demanded. Lately this seems to be an unpopular opinion with certain segments of the population, but frankly they'll get over it. Or they won't - honestly, who cares? As I've learned and grown over time, I've discovered that I have two main facets to my Dom personality - that of a sadist, and that of a more Daddy Dom. An odd combination, but there it is. I greatly enjoy delivering pain, as well as comforting after it's all over. My specific tastes range very far and wide - it's unlikely there's a fetish or act that I haven't heard of, even if it's not something I enjoy or know much about, but I do not, and would never claim to be an expert - I just read. A Lot. In my non-Dom life I tend to be the quiet one - preferring to listen and observe. I tend to follow the advice of "better to remain silent, and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt." I'm also the one that can program your coffee pot with the right time, fix your computer, tablet, phone - I'm a geek. And I'm perfectly ok with that. If I've intrigued you, shoot me a line - I'm always interested in talking to new people about any subject matter, it doesn't have to be about D/s, etc.
