It is a constant struggle to interact with others within the lifestyle; my instruction manual must have been lost somewhere in the mail for it has never arrived.

I am a dominant person, I live to dominate and the darkness hidden in the recesses of my mind sometimes screams to be released, yet constantly I face the same perplexing question........ What do I say to someone on first contact?

 If I show my dominant side right from the start will they think that I am trying to get into their knickers and little else or that I am some sort of power hungry Dom who expects all females to bow before me?

 If I address them as I would an equal will they take that as my lacking the dominant traits they are looking for or worse still that I am some weak kneed man who cannot even control himself?

 Yes Dom’s are strong and self assured and need to be in control but when I first make contact I do not want to dominate you I merely seek your friendship, through friendship we can grow trust and once we have trust we have a foundation on which to build.

 I struggle also with two sides of my own personality, one side that must do what is right, to protect those who need protection, to support those who need strength, to catch those that fall............

 The other side is the darkness that screams, that wants to inflict pain for my pleasure that needs to humiliate that needs to control. It is this struggle that I believe gives those who earn the title the right to be called master for they have taken control of their internal darkness and can then control those with whom they desire.
