she was sent here from heaven,

i am frightened.

She screams. She criesout for loved ones who have died and dreams that have fallen like stars to the Earth to shatter like so much fine cut crystal. She kneels on the ground in the rain. Her gown is torn and stained with dirt. Her hair is tangled and bloody from when others had hit her. her arms ache for the children that were stolen and the slashes from wrist to elbow that climb like stripes on a tiger. She gets up. She stumbles forward then starts to run. She runs till her feet bleed. She runs even as her spine hurts and forces her to double over in a servants bow. She runs till her legs sieze up and she staggers with a crash to the ground. It is so dark. It is so cold she wonders if the rain will leave burnmarks upon her skin and gown. She has not felt warm in days. Maybe years. She screams again and wonders why she can no longer hear her own voice, though to others it would seem very loud. She wishes to sleep but darklings drive at her with thunder and lighting and bad pictures from her past.
