I've just moved to Glasgow and I'm looking to get in touch with the local scene. I strongly identify as dominant and consider that in a spiritual, as well as sexual, way. As well being interested in S&M alternative lifestyle, I also have a strong interest in ecological alternative lifestyle: The self-control necessary to live a life more in tune with our environment is a strong foundation for the self-mastery that, in my opinion, must come before mastering others.
I would describe my spiritual beliefs as being a Zen Pagan. This probably sounds a lot more pretentious than it is, in reality I have found my way through the convergence of many paths, primarily under the influence of these three. I see spirituality as a very personal thing, being a connection between one's conscious self and those deeper personae that lie beneath.
My great passions in life are cooking, science and music. I am a biologist and have just finished my doctoral studies in Switzerland. I love to cook, especially, for interesting people who might happen to invite themselves over ;). I am mainly vegetarian so tofu does, predictably, form the basis of a lot of my cuisine. Sourced mainly from The East, in combination with the depths of my own imagination: I like to experiment but not all my experiments are succesful. It would be a boring world if they were. Music-wise, I am an electronic keyboardist. There are hours to be lost in searching the world of sounds to find the right one...
My other passion is travelling: I am quite nomadic and have never lived longer than half a decade in the same place. My journeys have taken my across this Earth, and back again. The world is wide and full of wonders.
